Dr. Roever is a board-certified internal medicine physician with additional board certification in geriatric medicine who consistently receives excellent patient reviews for her warm and caring bedside manner. A humanitarian, she was a senior group member of a medical mission that earned a nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize in 2002. She has volunteered for medical missions 10 times since the age of 16, in El Salvador.

Born in Tarpon Springs, Dr. Roever is fluent in English and Spanish, having studied in Spain and served as a medical Spanish translator while in school. After graduating with high honors from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Fla., she earned her medical degree with highest honors from Ross University School of Medicine in the West Indies. From there, she undertook her internal medicine residency at Boston University’s Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence, R.I., followed by her fellowship in geriatric medicine at the University of South Florida’s James Haley Veterans Hospital in Tampa.

Since joining the physician team at Palm Harbor Medical Center in 2011, Dr. Roever has quickly established a reputation as a personable, communicative and highly skilled primary care physician who answers all of her patients’ questions while providing comprehensive, primary health care screenings and treatments. She has a strong interest in seniors’ health care needs as they age, and currently serves as President for the Florida Geriatrics Society.
